BIDC COVID-19 Business Continuity Plan
The BIDC takes this opportunity to wish each of our clients, tenants and partners, a safe and healthy journey in the days ahead. We are positive that we will all come through this experience stronger and more resilient as the circumstances force us to rethink processes, improve our business models and overall efficiency, and put innovation into practice.
Certification Services remain available through Designated ‘Drop Boxes’ which have been relocated to The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade on Culloden Road, St. Michael to expedite the processing of your export documentation. BIDC’s clients using this service will be asked to drop off documents between 9-11 am with a collection period of 1-2 pm. The BIDC Officers will take the documents from this box, have them certified and place them on top of the box for collection.
Please note the following:
Do remember to turn off all valves to plumbing outlets (i.e. taps, wc’s).
Do secure all spaces – lock all doors and close all windows.
Do remove all collected garbage from internal spaces and place for disposal.
Do report any areas of concern before lockdown.
While the Corporation will patrol the estates periodically, companies will be required to make their own security arrangements for their businesses.
Most of our staff will be working remotely, providing services virtually, where appropriate. A directory of contacts can be found here. Do feel free to communicate with us by telephone or email as necessary.
For urgent matters pertaining to exports, tenancy or otherwise, please contact the following persons:
