Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Renewable Energy Symposium 2010

The Barbados Investment & Development Corporation (BIDC) successfully organized the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Renewable Energy Symposium 2010 on March 5, 2010 at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

This year’s event explored the relationship between entrepreneurship and innovation with a special focus on renewable energy.  A full day conference targeted at 200 business professionals and students, the event brought together members of the academia, environmental experts and industry partners. The Hon. Dr. David Estwick, Minister of Economic Affairs, Empowerment, Innovation, Trade Industry and Commerce, declared the meeting officially open while BIDC Chairman, Dr. Don Marshall, shared his vision for entrepreneurship and renewable energy development in Barbados.
