Divisions
The BIDC offers a comprehensive range of services through four major divisions and other special units, which coordinate efforts to effectively meet the needs of business operations of all types, at all stages of development:

Research Information and Design Services (RIDS)
Assists researchers and government officials seeking statistical information on trade, employment and industrial sectors, compiles reports, directories and other and publications, and offers a well-maintained Business Library which caters to the information needs and interests of BIDC officers and their clients.

Administration (AD)
This Division comprises the Accounts Department, the Human Resources Department, Office Management, and Property & Estate Management Department. The Accounts Department handles the in-house accounts of the Corporation; it also assists BIDC tenants as well as companies supplying goods or services to BIDC, while the Human Resources Department is responsible for administrative policies and procedures relating to BIDC staff.

Entrepreneurial Development (EDD)
Assists entrepreneurs seeking to establish new ventures, established businesses employing fewer than 25 persons, and developers of innovative products or processes. It is housed in the fully-equipped Barbados Small Business Centre in Fontabelle, St. Michael.

Export Development and Promotion Division (EPDD)
Coordinates a number of special programmes and services for exporters of goods and services from Barbados.
