Management of Intellectual Property Assets by small and medium sized enterprises

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO),  in cooperation with the Barbados Investment & Development Corporation (BIDC) will be hosting a Sub-Regional Workshop on Intellectual Property Management by Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises. 

This 3 day seminar focuses on Intellectual Property (IP) and the importance of effective IP management to enhance competitiveness.

Topics include:

  • Managing IP in international business
  • IP Law and administration in Barbados
  • Importance of industrial designs and trademarks
  • Using the copyright works of others in your business
  • Importance of trade secret protection for SMEs
